Your data and browser features

Vibear stores clips, icons, triggers, recent alerts and device status in Cloudflare D1 and R2, scoped to your signed-in account or a guest browser session. Use the same email and password as signAR, signing in separately on each site. SilentEar and SignMoji share your Vibear library. Clearing a guest cookie loses guest access; signing into an account restores its private library on another device. Email verification and password reset are not yet available. Keep your password and exported clips safe.

Public and private uploads

Vibear uploads remain private. Adding a signAR reference to Vibear saves a private library entry referencing that existing public clip. Your own recording never becomes a public signAR contribution automatically. signAR contribution recordings have their own consent and moderation process.

Microphone and speech

Capture begins when you press Start. Press Stop to end it. Browser speech recognition may send audio to the browser vendor’s service. Local sound-pattern detection uses experimental Web Audio heuristics. No paid Gemini or Groq service is enabled.

Caregiver sharing

Data is private by default. Creating a sharing code lets its holder view recent alerts and status and send an attention cue. Keep it private. A new code replaces the old one; Revoke disables sharing. Updates poll approximately every ten seconds while open. Location collection is disabled.

Storage

Recent alerts and commands retain up to 100 entries per guest session or account. Media is private to its owner, with up to 20 MB per file and 200 uploads per guest session or account. Deleting a library entry does not yet immediately erase its media file. Use the button below to erase the current guest or signed-in account library and media. Local settings and downloaded files remain. Hosting and storage limits apply.

Changing addresses

Browser-local data on earlier domains stays there. Export important clips there and upload them here. The older configured Supabase service could not be reached; its records have not been claimed as transferred or deleted.
